Hiking Mount Karisimbi is a strenuous 2-day, 4,507-meter adventure in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park. It features steep, muddy trails through four vegetation zones, culminating in stunning summit views. The hike requires strong fitness, with a mandatory overnight camp at 3,700m. The dry seasons (June-September, Dec-Feb) are best.
