Leave Rubavu and ride south along one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Africa. Continue south along the Congo-Nile Trail from Bumba toward Karongi — the jewel of Lake Kivu's eastern shore. Arrive in Karongi (Kibuye) — a charming lakeside town famous for its peninsula setting, island-dotted bay, and tranquil atmosphere.
